Skincare Spotlight: Myroo

If there’s one thing I love, it’s simple skincare. I am very selective about what I put on my skin, and I appreciate beautifully crafted, thoughtful skincare lines.

I recently won these products in a blog giveaway on Sarah’s beautiful blog Sugarpuffish. She writes about natural and organic beauty with a focus on allergy- and eczema-friendly products.

I’m very excited to try these products! They are right up my alley, as I have got sensitive skin and love to keep things simple and clean.

First up, the facial cleanser and cloth. I always love to have a muslin cloth or some sort of face cloth for removing makeup and dirt. I have been oil-cleansing for years and it’s my favourite method to get everything off my face while moisturising at the same time.

The scent is Starflower and Orange Blossom. It contains one of my all-time favourite scents and skin ingredients: neroli (from the flowers of orange trees). It is such a star ingredient, boasting benefits such as antidepressant, aphrodisiac, antiseptic, cicatrisant (fights scarring).. the list goes on!

INGREDIENTS: safflower seed oil, apricot kernel oil, borage seed oil, rosemary extract, neroli oil, citral*, geraniol*, farnesol*, d-limonene*, linalool*.

*naturally occurring essential oils.

As you can see, the ingredient list is very pure, no fillers or artificial nonsense. I have used this oil once and first impressions are amazing. It’s lightweight, melts away makeup, doesn’t leave residue on the skin and my face felt plump and moisturised afterwards. I’ll keep this post updated as I use it more!

Myron’s Skin boost serum, also in that delirious starflower and orange blossom scent. If I don’t use it as a serum, I will love this as a perfume! For those of you who don’t love scents or who are super-sensitive, they have a fragrance-free version!

INGREDIENTS: jojoba seed oil, rosehip seed oil, borage seed oil, sunflower seed oil, olive squalene, raspberry seed oil, rosemary extract, neroli oil, calendula officinalis flower extract, citral*, geraniol*, farnesol*, d-limonene*, linalool.

*naturally occurring essential oils.

Once again, such a lovely list of ingredients.. I want all of these things on my face! I would definitely be more likely to use this serum during the day, as the cleanser itself moisturises enough for me at night time.

I love the clean look of the packaging. I always appreciate glass, as I’m not sure what could be leaching out of plastic into my skincare! This serum has a dropper for precise application, so I can only assume this is one potent lil bottle of goodness!

I’m thrilled with both of these and will keep you posted as I continue to use them! Thank you Sarah and Rachael for the chance to try this beautiful line!
