Bohochic Cosmetics was started by Yeiza Reyes, green beauty blogger and nature lover! Check out her blog here. Her first collection is inspired by the various rainbow shades of flowers, and is called Flower Head. It comes in an adorable carry bag with the logo stitched on! Her company is vegan, cruelty free and created in small batches. I should start out by apologising for the lateness of this post. I was beseiged by technical issues (not to mention moving country..) but it is finally here! 🙂
Unfortunately for me, my SD card was formatted before I realised that I was missing all the photos I took when this collection first arrived. It has taken me until now to sort out a new computer, internet connection etc.. So here are the new photos of these stunning shadows!
Included in this collection are the shades:
Blue Hydrangea – aqua blue
Lavender – cool purple
Leaves – cool toned, murky green
Sunflower – yellow-orange
Tulip – warm pinky-red shade that I use both as blush and eyeshadow
Also included is a Rose Petal Lip Balm – a good all-rounder product that also works as cuticle balm or intensive moisturiser for any areas of dry skin. (excellent to have in your handbag for winter!) It is quite a glossy balm, so could easily be used for shine over lippies as well!
I usually do not wear colour on my eyes, and am still intimidated by that blue shade, but all the other colours are so enticing that I had to try them out. I am also starting to appreciate more and more the impact of loose pigment eyeshadows when compared with pressed. Even with shades that I have pressed versions of, I find myself reaching for the loose versions when I want a stronger punch of colour. These eyeshadow did not disappoint. They wear really nicely, last a full day with minimal fading (I don’t wear primer) and have excellent ingredients.
If you want to check out the beautiful pigment in action on my face, I am wearing lavender and tulip in my latest faves video.
I’m excited to see more collections come out from this company! Thankfully she ships worldwide (*cheers loudly*)
I’m excited to see what she creates next!
